Natural remedies for hormonal cystic acne during pregnancy – Acne and Pregnancy

Virtually everyone suffers from acne at least at one point in their lives. Acnes are majorly caused by disorders in the sebaceous gland. This is the gland causes the secretion of an oily substance, especially on the face, back and neck. Distilled white vinegar can be applied to the affected parts. The vinegar can then be rinsed off after 5-10 minutes. It can be diluted if it is too strong.

Eat a well balanced diet

The dead skin that clogs the skin pours can effectively be removed by application of citric or lemon juices.  Just as in the case with vinegar, the citric or lemon juices should be applied on the affected areas.  It should be allowed to dry and rinsed off with cool water after about ten minutes. The juice can be diluted if it burns or stings.

Herbal products such as BP-X and Natures Sunshine’s Ayurvedic Skin Detox can be used to reduce acne, detoxify the liver and cleanse the skin.  Other substances that can be used to detoxify the liver include, red clover, Burdock and Dandelion.

Taking different types of foods rich in vitamin A can helpful in treatment of acne. This method has been used for a long time. Excessive vitamin A in the body however, is not recommended because it can be harmful to your health. It is therefore advisable to consult with health care providers.

Foods rich in zinc are also useful in the prevention and treatment of acne. Zinc helps in stopping or minimizing inflammation and resisting infections. Besides, it assists in prevention of scars and in healing of tissues caused by acne.
